Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning - Heather from Houses Built of Cards excited to be stopping by to share! Life in our household has been a bit on the crazy side - we were gone visiting family for 2 weeks over Thanksgiving, then came home the next day and got a new puppy. Not quite sure what I was thinking, but this girl has been going crazy not getting to craft! So I was super excited yesterday afternoon to have a few spare moments to put together this super simple set of cards using some Bazzil White Cardstock, and Echo Park's 12x12 Everyday Eclectic sticker sheet

I simply made my cardbases, and adhered my stickers. I took some of the elements and powdered the back of them so I could attach foam adhesive for a bit of dimension, otherwise these are very simple one layer cards!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Today's Daily SPS inspiration with June - card set

Hello!  This is June Houck with a little Shop Pumpkin Spice inspiration for you.  Two years ago my first purchase at Shop Pumpkin Spice was Echo Park's "Victoria Gardens."  I pulled it out today to see if I could come up with a set of quick cards.  I found a sheet of this patterned stripe and decided to get to work!  I used an element sticker as my embellishment; a quick and easy card.  Then I decided to make a set using up some sentiment stickers I won from SRM.
Four pretty cards in half an hour; gotta love that!

Happy Wednesday!  June

Hello Friends,

Woot Hoot... It's Friday!!!

Has your week been absolutely CRAZY or wonderfully FUN??

Mine has been BOTH!!

Today I have a quick card to share with you.... well the process is quick, the clean... not so much.

The little pieces of paper from the die cut required me to vacuum when I was finished... lol  But it totally worth it.  I really like all the detail, although next time... I think I will try the Cameo. :)

I used Echo Park - For the Record 2.  I love this paper line.  So pretty and the designs can be used for pretty much any type of card.

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Marlene - Card

Hello Everyone!

This is Marlene from ScrappinCookie!

After some time away from crafting and Shop Pumpkin Spice, I'm so happy to be back here today to share with you a "Christmas in July" Card. Not only do I have a Christmas Card ready for when December comes around, but I was able to use up some of my Christmas Papers.

I started with some Bazzill Kraft Cardstock for my card's base and Echo Park Paper's Season Greetings Collection. This is one of my favorite Christmas Collections - it has lots of RED, GREEN with some of BLUE papers.

The Gingerbread Man was cut out with my Cricut from Core'dinations' Burnt Sugar Vintatge Cardstock. The "Frosting" was cut from Carta Bella's Felt Ultra White Cardstock and then sprinkled with clear glitter.

I tied some Red Grosgrain Ribbon around the card and layered it with Kraft Baker's Twine and Gold Jingle Bells. I stamped my sentiment with my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad - this is my FAVORITE Black Ink Pad, I get clean fine details all the time.

I hope you have enjoyed my ShopPumpkinSpice Inspiration! ALL products used in my card can be found at the ShopPumpkinSpice Store.

Not only does ShopPumpkinSpice carry Top Quality and Reliable Brands, but you will find most items at a discounted price - 30% off to be exact! And as if that's not enough, ShopPumpkinSpice is adding SALE items DAILY! Be sure to check out the SALE ITEMS section of the store.

Today's SPS Inspiration from Saundra ~ 3D Project

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a 3D project using products from Shop Pumpkin Spice and a free file from SVG Cuts.

SVG Cuts was giving away a free clutch file and I just had to make it!

The clutch was super easy to put together and I really love how it came out!

The base was cut from Bazzill cardstock.

My patterned paper is from Echo Park "Times and Seasons." This particular pattern is called "Trinkets."  I inked the edges with some Ranger Distress Ink. Brads were added from Echo Park This & That and a resin flower from my stash to finish it off. I, also, added a bit of Velcro to hold the flap down.

You can see even more products from Shop Pumpkin Spice HERE.

Don't forget to join in the current challenge Here!

I hope you enjoyed my 3D project today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Saundra ~ Card

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I created a card using some Echo Park paper.

I started with a Bazzill Kraft card base and layered some Bazzill Honey Dotted Swiss cardstock on top that I had punched with a Fiscars scalloped punch.

I then took some scraps from my Echo Park Paradise Beach 6x6 paper pad and cut them into strips in varying widths. I inked the edges with some Distress Ink in Tea Dye and spaced them as evenly as I could across my card.

I added some bakers twine that I received from an old Pumpkin Spice kit and topped it with a brad from My Mind's Eye. To finish my card I kept it simple and added a few random sequins. I am loving sequins! :)

This is such a great way to use some of your scraps.

You can find so many fun papers and embellishments at Shop Pumpkin Spice either HERE or HERE

Don't forget to stop by the Pumpkin Spice Blog for daily inspiration and weekly challenges!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - card

Hi!  I am June Houck with a little Shop Pumpkin Spice inspiration for you today.

I think this Echo Park "Victoria Gardens" was my first purchase from the Shop Pumpkin Spice store.  The i-rock tool and gems were a later purchase, and one package is a lifetime supply...definitely one of my favorite tools and embellies.

Most of my Echo Park collections are now very thin.  They are my go-to collections when I need inspiration.  Sometimes the paper inspires me, but often it is a sticker element that catches my eye.  Today it was the latter;  I chose the rose sticker, placed it on a scrap of card stock, and fussy cut it.  Then I perused the papers to coordinate.  The sentiment is cut from the "Journaling Cards" sheet, and the other two papers are "Rose" and "Sunshine."  I lightly inked the edges with a black ink pad for a definition.

I am a slow crafter, but for once I actually made this card in about 30 minutes!  Woot woot :)  I made this card for my mom, who has been a huge help to me; especially this past year with the move to our current home.  She has helped me transform the house into my dream home.  There are still several home improvements to make, but the progress we've made in the past 14 months is amazing.  Thanks, Mom!

Happy Tuesday!  June

NSD "Let's Catch Up": Layout Challenge with Missy

Good morning everyone!

Happy National Scrapbook Day everyone!!

This is Missy from Quick Chick Designs!!  We're so happy you've joined us for National Scrapbook Day!!  In case you're just joining in, today we're having a new challenge every hour for ELEVEN hours straight, and EACH challenge that you participate in, you have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Shop Pumpkin Spice store. You read that right---$20 every hour!!  That's terrific!!

OK now on to my challenge!!  I've been trying really hard to get caught up on  my scrapbooks lately.  So, I figured that with today being National Scrapbook Day, it would be a great chance to continue working on some layouts--so I'm doing a layout challenge!!

CHALLENGE: Create a ONE or a TWO page scrapbook layout!!!

This is a layout I created for a day we took my little guy to the park. This  is actually the left side of a two page layout.  I wanted to focus on this side, because this is where the cute scrappy elements are at.  Here are a couple of close ups of the images I used, they were all cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  Here's the title.  I incorporated a little bit of the pattern paper from the bottom in the lettering.

Here's a close up of the cute merry go round.  I added a little pattern paper here as well.

My favorite part of the layout is the super fun jungle gym.  A lot of the pictures I'm using on the layout have him playing on a very similar style gym, so it fit perfectly!

The second page  of the layout is just going to be a collage of pictures (which haven't made it back from the printer yet, grrrr!!!) but I wanted to share the page with you, as I will be  able to get a ton of photos---10 total---on there!

Recipe
Echo Park Playground: Capture the Flag
Echo Park Playground: Monkey Bars
Echo Park Playground: Jump Rope
Echo Park Playground: Merry Go Round
Miss Kate Cuttable: Playing in the Park

Be sure to check back EVERY HOUR for a new challenge!!

CHALLENGE: Create a ONE or a TWO page scrapbook layout

Shop Pumpkin Spice has also given us a COUPON CODE for the store!!  The coupon code for my post is NSD7 for 10% off your order---10% off already low prices, and terrific SALE prices as well!!  Click HERE to visit the store!!!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Denine - Cards

Hello Everyone,

It's Friday.  Hip Hip Hooray for Friday!!!

I have been watching videos this week from Patterned Play, a class over at Online Card Classes.  Jennifer McGuire shared a technique on Day 1 that I have absolutely fallen in love with and can see it becoming a Go To technique for quick easy fun cards.

Didn't they turn out cute!  I just love this technique and will definitely be trying to find a way to do it with my electric die machines.  I love puzzles, so this really was a fun card to put together.  And super fast to assemble.

I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Circles
Paradise Beach by Echo Park
Girlie Doodles by MPS
Texas Chocolate Ink by MPS

The Technique:
- You cut all 3 papers and dies nested together at once, this makes them fit within each other perfectly.

I also used a Sizzix Scrappy Cat die that cuts and embosses in one pass... love it!  I tend to not emboss with my cuttlebug using dies because it is time consuming.. this totally rocked!

Have a fabulous Friday.

You have a few more hours to submit your Rainbow Project to our Pumpkin Spice Weekly Challenge.  Come back tomorrow to see who the winner is.

Hugs,

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards to share some inspiration this morning! I had so much fun making my card to share with you today!
I have been enjoying seen the Speech Bubble trend, and decided to pull out my Silhouette Cameo and Designer Edition Software and create a card using a Speech Bubble. I used files from the online store for the speech bubble, and also the words inside.
My pattern papers are from Glitz Designs and Echo Park Paper company. The stone colored background paper is from Glitz Designs 6x6 Yours Truly paper pad, and the black and white chevron on the bottom is from Glitz Designs 6x6 Cashmere Dame paper pad. The off white I used for the speech bubble is a 12x12 Echo Park page from "Play Ground" (Cloud/Grass Stain), the red for the heart is a 12x12 Echo Park page from "Season's Greetings" (Red/Cream), and the blue in the background and for the word love is also a 12x12 Echo Park page from "Holly Jolly Christmas" (Winter Green/Icicle Blue)
I attached the top half of the sentiment with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension, then attached the bottom half directly to my speech bubble.
I then attached that to my layered card base, also with foam adhesive. Finished off with a tiny wood veneer figure in the bottom right that I colored with a Copic marker to coordinate with my card, and added just a tiny bit of red bling.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!
