Moments with You

Happy Friday everyone! Ann here.

For today's Shop Pumpkin Spice post, I've created a card using tons of great goodies from SPS!  The paper (Deck Chair) is from the Cosmo Cricket Salt Air collection which is getting difficult to find, but they're still available at SPS!

Oh, and did you get in on the MME sale last week? If not, make sure to "Like" SPS on Facebook HERE to get the latest sales and news!  I bought a bunch of MME stuff, which included these gorgeous trims that you see on the card along with the chipboard sticker sentiment.

Make sure to join us tomorrow for our March hop!!

A CAS type of Friday

Hi everyone!  Ann here :)  I hope that you're all having a great Friday.  Just one more day and we get to enjoy the weekend again.  Yay!

For this week's post, I've decided to create a couple of CAS cards.  I find CAS cards to be really difficult to do.  I seem to fuss over them a lot more than I do my busy cards - isn't that strange?  Anywho, if you're like me and you struggle with CAS, then Shop Pumpkin Spice has some great products to help you cast your CAS fears away :)

The first card was easily put together using the Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Papercrafting Kit (great deal at SPS, too).  The Earth Love collection is one of my favorite collections from Cosmo Cricket!  I love the whimsical/vintage feel and the colors are just perfect.  For this card, I distressed the edges using some distress ink.  The mini clothespins are from the SPS February Frilly Love kit.  They're so cute!

Supplies usedEarth Love Papercrafting Kit (on sale now at Shop Pumpkin Spice!); SPS February Frilly Love kit

The second card is pretty self-explanatory :)  The cute little duck stamp is from the Crafter's Companion Say It With Flowers stamp set and the die cut is from the Doodle Bug Sweet Cakes die cut sheet.  Edged was pierced with my paper piercer.
StampCrafter's Companion Say It With FlowersColoring medium: Copics stamped with Memento Inkpad in Rich CocoaPaperPaper Accents Smooth Matte white cardstockTools/other: "Hello" die cut from Doodle Bug Sweet Cakes die cut sheet, paper piercer, ATG Tape

That's it for me today!  For those that have a holiday on Monday, enjoy your long weekend :)  I sure will!

Here is my project for the HOP... Simple and Sweet, the Pumpkin Spice way!
Pumpkin and I made these together for her 'Classmates', I did not use the traditional 'Valentine' papers, just because I so LOVE some of these older lines from MME!  Lime Twist has got to be one of my all time FAVS, and Stella & Rose, I just adore the styles on these lines.

We used:
"My Mind's Eye - Lime Twist 'Life of the Party "Love" Scallops paper
1 x 8 reclosable poly bags
PA Smooth White Cardstock
Lipstick Red Cat's Eye Chalk ink
Rosebud Cat's Eye Pigment ink
My Pink Stampers 'Love-alicious' Stamp Set
Valentine m&m's
Zots Dimentionals (Love these)

and Viola...

It has been difficult for Pumpkin to avoid EATING all the m&m's

Thanks you so much for taking the time to check out my posting today.  I hope you got a 'smile' out of something you saw or got some inspiration to go do something crafty.

Adore

Happy Friday everyone! Ann here :)

I have a simple card to share with you using supplies from the Shop Pumpkin Spice January 2012 Featured Designer kit!  This is such a fun kit and I loved all the different embellishments and papers in it.  I've been wanting to try random sewing on a card and I thought this was as good a time as any!

The doily, button, twine, crochet flower, ribbon (frayed at the ends), cute bingo card, and kraft paper are all included in the Shop Pumpkin Spice January 2012 Featured Designer kit.  Everything in the kit works so well together.

Well, that's it for me today, but don't forget to stop by tomorrow for our monthly blog hop as well as the unveil of a new featured designer kit!

How wonderful life is...

Happy Friday!  Ann here!

I have another card to share with you today using the wonderful products from Shop Pumpkin Spice.  I've actually used supplies from various manufacturers and collections, which is somewhat of a rarity for me :)  I usually go the easy route and pick embellishments and papers from the same collection, but this time I tried to mix it up a bit.

The papers are from Crate Paper Emma's Shop 6x6 paper pad and the sentiment sticker is from Echo Park Yours Truly - Element Stickers.  I've placed it on a Spellbinders die cut from the Fleur de Lis Rectangles set which is layered on top of a journaling card cut from the Echo Park Happy Days - Journaling Cards.

I've also liberally sprayed the card with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Pearl, which you can see better if you click on the picture to enlarge it.  I used a ticket punch to dress up the edges a little and placed dots of Stickles at the corners of the card.  The card was held together using my trusty ATG gun and the Scotch Tape Glue for the papers and Beacon Advanced Tape Glue for the flowers and lace.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Here for you

Happy Friday!  Ann here for your first Friday post of 2012!

How has the new year  been for you so far?  Have you gotten into the habit of writing 2012 for dates yet?

For my SPS post today, I have a somewhat spring-like card to share with you.  It was kind of nice to use some natural colors instead of blues and holiday colors :) This card actually didn't take too long to put together as there was no coloring involved. The gorgeous papers are from the Bo Bunny Welcome Home 6x6 Paper Pad.  I love the natural colors in this paper pad.  What I also like about Bo Bunny in general is the distressing that they have on their papers so it makes me want to distress the edges to go for a more tattered look.  The edges were also Stickled and the stickers are from K&Company.

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Everyday Mini Postage Stamps; Papers: Bo Bunny Welcome Home 6x6 Paper PadAccessories/tools: Whimsy Stamps Mini Postage Stamp die, K&Company stickers, Stickles, doily, distressing tool, Inkssentials ink blending tool

See you again tomorrow for our monthly SPS blog hop where you will be introduced to the new SPS designers and revisit some of our current team members!

I recently moved to San Francisco with my wonderful hubby who I have been married to for a little over a year. We live with our sweet old fur ball, an 11 year old rat terrier named Princess. I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who supports me in my crafting addiction and who has helped me to start my own stamp line, My Thoughts Exactly Stamps. I am primarily a card maker but I love paper crafts of every kind! I am SO excited to be a member of the Shop Pumpkin Spice design team because I absolutely love the products they carry and the customer service is amazing! I am honored to represent such a wonderful company. I look forward to inspiring you with some new and creative ways to use products from Shop Pumpkin Spice!!

Raindrop Echo Designs

 My name is Ann and I live in beautiful Southern California.  I have four crazy dogs and a hubby who's amazingly patient with my cardmaking obsession. I've been cardmaking since May 2009 and I'm happy to be a part of the supportive, encouraging and friendly papercrafting community.  I love to use stamps, flowers, ribbons, pearls, lace and whatever else you can think of on my creations, but above all else, I love paper!  You can create a card without stamps and embellishments, but you have to have paper!  I am excited to be a part of the ShopPumpkinSpice Design Team because, let's face it, it has the LOWEST prices around and I'm just the type who loves to get the most bang out of her buck ;)  I hope to inspire you with my creations just as everyone else has inspired me!

I am thrilled and excited to start another term as a design team member for the amazing Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I am a mother of two adorable kiddos (baby #3 due at the end of April) and a wife to a wonderful husband. I work part-time as a nurse at a busy metro hospital. When I'm not busy being a mommy and a nurse, I spend time reading and getting caught up in Netflix movies. My family loves to travel and spend time together, so there is alway an adventure on the horizon.

I have been a paper crafter for years, but got my fire rekindled last year when I got a Cricut for Christmas. I've been crazy crafting ever since. I have a passion for my Cricut, Cuttlebug and all my stamps. I adore beautiful paper and embellishments. My favorite things to craft are home decor, mini albums, and cards. I love learning new techniques and being inspired by others.

May all your paper crafting dreams come true.

We will see what 2012 has to offer.

Diana is having her 1st Blog-aversary today... Sponsored by Robyn of My Pink Stamper.  Be sure to hop over and say hello to Diana and wish her a happy 1st Blog-aversary!

LENAE
Sugar Gem Crafts

Hi there I'm Lenae! I live in Washington State with my fiancée and my black lab fur baby Kalani. I got started in paper crafting about 5 plus years ago when I was invited to a card party. I lost my job about 3 years ago when the company I worked for went out of business. Before I lost my job I mainly made cards for the troops, but once I was jobless I had so much extra time I needed to expand my horizons. I started really getting into 3D design. Last October for my birthday I received a Cricut from my mom, which opened up all kinds of new ideas and avenues. This is when everything exploded for me in the crafting community. I started my blog just a few months after that and haven't looked back! I love designing cards, treat goodies and 3d projects! Most of my projects always come with either a free SVG file and/or tutorial. Crafting has really changed my life. After going through many losses in my family over the last few years I started using my crafting as a form of therapy. It really helped me get through some tough times. I have met some of the nicest, kindest giving people I have ever met in the crafting community! I am so blessed to have all of you in my life! I am also blessed to have a fiancée that supports my addiction.... I mean hobby!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, My name is Lezlye Lauterbach, I live in Northern California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. I have been married for 25 years to Jim who is very supportive of my obsession, anything to do with paper crafting! I have three children,one girl two boys ages 22, 19, 18. I have an adorable Yorkie Daizy who will soon be 4!
I have been paper crafting for about 20 years, it's the one hobby that has stuck! I love my electronic cutting machines and use them everyday. I try to post new creations on my blog on a regular basis. I am excited for this new partnership with Shop Pumpkin Spice, to meet new friends and have fun! Paper Crafters are the best!
SAUNDRA
Luv Scrapping Together
My name is Saundra. I am a wife, homeschool mom, and avid papercrafter. I began papercrafting a little over 3 years ago after I bought my electronic cutting machine. At first I had thought to only use it for bulletin boards and such for my classroom. I was teaching in a private school back then. As I began searching for information I discovered the world of blogging. There is so much inspiration to be had! I love making cards and have tried my hand at scrapbooking and making home decor projects. Besides papercrafting I love spending time with my family and am striving to get fit. That's my 2012 resolution!! I look forward to serving on the Shop Pumpkin Spice design team and hope to inspire you in some small way.
Cherish the Moments
I'm so sorry for the late post everyone!  This is Ann with a rather late Friday post.
Before I get to today's post, I'd like to mention that you still have time to get in on some great Black Friday deals!  Head over to the Shop Pumpkin Spice store to check out all the sales.
For this week's Shop Pumpkin Spice creation, I've decided to create a rather simple card to show off the pretty papers from Crate Paper Farmhouse collection.  The papers are vibrant and were really refreshing to use after doing so many holiday cards.  I actually liked how this card came together and I hope you do, too!
Have a wonderful weekend and see you again next week!
