Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards! I get to post here today! I had fun with some more Crate Paper, as well as a Unity Stamp set and a bunch of fun embellishments that you can find over at Shop Pumpkin Spice! You can find them all linked at the bottom of this post:
I stamped this fun Unity Stamp jar on pattern paper, then fussy cut it out to adhere to my card. I stamped the hearts inside the jar, and spread a light layer of Stickles over the hearts to add a touch of sparkle. Also added a few enamel dots in the jar.
My pattern papers are all from Crate Paper's Bo Bunny 6x6 paper pad, and I used a coordinating epoxy brad from the same collection on my jute twine bow.
There is a bit of washi tape on there, as well as a doily tucked behind the center panel. I used Bazzil white cardstock for my cardbase - it is PERFECT for making card bases with!
Here are all the supplies used on this card, linked to the SPS store:

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards. We have slowly been enjoying bits of warmer days here is Wyoming, and I have been enjoying the always present sunshine - so I put together a card today to celebrate those who bring sunshine into our lives:
I used some 6x6 Crate Paper Storyteller collection papers, and layered a Bo Bunny Doily on top. Added a few wraps of jute twine, then added the Bo Bunny Chipboard piece. This is such a quick way to put together a card! No stamping or die cutting! Super easy!
Finished off with some sequins, and a bit of coordinating bling, as well as an enamel dot in the center of the jute twine bow.
Here is where you can find all the ingredients at the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store:

NSD - Court's Challenge - Throwback to Kindergarten: Doodle AND Color!

So, Shop Pumpkin Spice is doing a huge set of challenges and each one that you participate in gets you a chance to win $20 to the SPS store... as in $20 EVERY HOUR (not $20 total... $20 EVERY hour. Crazy. It's like a non-profit for the paper-less. :))

Here it the challenge I (Court from Court's Crafts) chose for you:
Throwback to Kindergarten: Doodle AND Color on your project.

To participate in the challenge, link up at the bottom of this page.

I doodled the black (around the card and the lines to either side of the sentiment) and white pen dots.
The flowers are stamps which I colored in with a ProMarker.

NSD - "His and Hers Challenge" with Heather

Hi there! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards to share my hourly challenge with you!

I hope you have been joining in on the fun so far today as we celebrate National Scrapbooking Day! Each hour there is a new challenge posted, with a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Shop Pumpkin Spice for each challenge you enter! Amazing, right?

I also have a coupon code for you - use NSD6 today at Shop Pumpkin Spice to save an extra 10% off your entire purchase today through Monday!

I picked "His and Hers" as the theme for my challenge. Interpret it how you like - either make a set of cards or layouts that include one girl and boy design, make a wedding or anniversary card or layout that is for a couple, or whatever your imagination comes up with!

I decided to use one design to make both a girl and boy baby card - that way if you know someone who doesn't find out in advance whether they are having a boy or girl (like me!) - you have one of each card ready to go right away after they are born!

Here is the girl version:

And here is the boy version:

Here are the supplies from Shop Pumpkin Spice that I used (click on them to link directly to them in the store):

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from Missy - Card

Hello everyone!!  I'm so excited to be with you today for my first Design Team project for Shop Pumpkin Spice.  What an amazing group of crafters to be a part of!!!

Now that Christmas and New Years are over, I'm sure many of you are beginning to think of the next crafty holiday to come.......Valentine's Day!!!  Earlier this week, I received a package of goodies from Shop Pumpkin Spice.  Included in my package were the beautiful pattern papers from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection.  While the papers are very versatile, and could be used in a variety of ways, I opted to create something with a Valentine's theme.  I cut strips of various pattern papers and adhered them to my cardstock base, and used the same papers to die cut a flower using my Cricut.  The paper is very high quality, heavy weight paper so it was wonderful to work with.

See the cute little sentiment??  I just love that font!!!  That cute little stamp came with the Bo Bunny Love Letters clear stamp set.  These little stamps are darling and are also very versatile.  Thank you so much for joining me today.  Don't forget, this Saturday will be the Shop Pumpkin Spice monthly blog hop right here, you won't want to miss the fun!!  Have a great day!!!  ~Missy~

Here for you

Happy Friday!  Ann here for your first Friday post of 2012!

How has the new year  been for you so far?  Have you gotten into the habit of writing 2012 for dates yet?

For my SPS post today, I have a somewhat spring-like card to share with you.  It was kind of nice to use some natural colors instead of blues and holiday colors :) This card actually didn't take too long to put together as there was no coloring involved. The gorgeous papers are from the Bo Bunny Welcome Home 6x6 Paper Pad.  I love the natural colors in this paper pad.  What I also like about Bo Bunny in general is the distressing that they have on their papers so it makes me want to distress the edges to go for a more tattered look.  The edges were also Stickled and the stickers are from K&Company.

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Everyday Mini Postage Stamps; Papers: Bo Bunny Welcome Home 6x6 Paper PadAccessories/tools: Whimsy Stamps Mini Postage Stamp die, K&Company stickers, Stickles, doily, distressing tool, Inkssentials ink blending tool

See you again tomorrow for our monthly SPS blog hop where you will be introduced to the new SPS designers and revisit some of our current team members!
