Thankful Thursday - #8

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I love Thankful Thursday... it gives me a chance to reflect on the past few days and ponder what I have experienced that I am truly thankful for.

This week, it was a stranger... I was in a rush with Pumpkin in tow, trying to get her and our luggage to the car to get home.  In my haste I was not paying attention to my surroundings and started to go up an escalator in the wrong direction.

The man held out his arm to stop me before I realized what I was doing.

I am so thankful because had Pumpkin stepped on the same escalator behind me, it could have been a real mess and she could have been injured.  I of course thanked the gentlemen, but not nearly enough.

Not only did the stranger prevent me from a horrible situation, he made me recognize a characteristic in myself that I would like to work on.  Slow down when things seem out of control because most likely, they will simply work themselves out.

What are you thankful for today?

Aaaw, what a sweet man! There are definitely wonderful people to give a helping hand...I experienced that traveling as well. I actually left my purse on the check in counter outside the LA airport and did not notice it til we were in the skies!
Oh my gosh, what a horrible feeling:( I mean, don't we have "everything" in our purses??? I started canceling everything and 4 wks later in ended up in my mailbox with a note from the airlines letting me know a women had turned it in...amazing ha?

I am most thankful for my family! We are all healthy and happy and life is good :)

Have a super day Denine!
