Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Denine - Cards

Happy Friday Everyone,

Denine here with some inspiration or maybe a simply smile. :-)

Because the weather here in Wonderful WET Western Washington has me in the mood for FALL (not a bad thing - some of my favorite colors) I pulled out the Gathering paper pad by Authentique.

Using the same papers, I put together 2 very different looks.  See...

I think I have fallen in love with the easy peasy cornered square design.  Here is another I put together, using the same paper pad.

Products used for these cards
Texas Chocolate Ink
Paper Smooches - Bee Mine Stamps
Authentique - Gathering
Suede Brown Dark Bazzill Cardstock

Today is the last day to submit your "Spring Animal or Insect" project for this weeks Challenge.

Tomorrow we will be announcing all of our March winners, during the April - Pumpkin Spice Design Team Blog Hop.  So be sure to Hop Back over Saturday, April 6th.  Plus, you just won't want to miss seeing what these talented ladies have put together for you.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,

Daily Inspiration Post - Tanya's card

"Love binds you when you find your other half".... for those of us that have found the love of our lives, that quote is so true.  I have been with my husband for 19 years now and I can't imagine my life without him.  Has it always been easy...no but I feel that those times has tightened the bound we have.

(yes this beauty is a vampire LOL and the quote says "There are no rules that can bind you when you find your other half")

APRIL 25, 2012***I LOVE YOU MOM***

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,

This is DIANA L. from DL.ART

I 'm thinking of Mother's day right now, not only is that right around the corner, but my Mom's birthday is in a few days. So I thought I better get busy on some ideas for her gift  and because earth day was this past weekend, I thought I would recycle this box that a candle came in.
I used the Authentique "Uncommon Collection" to cover the box and make a coordinating card.
The twine is from the Twinery, stone. The brad is from MME Lost and found breeze everywhere. Which is part of the March "Boy Crazy kit". I love you Mom sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "Lunch Box thoughts" sentiment set.  I used a chalk box inks set which included this espresso  color and I  inked the edges. The rosette is handmade from the same paper collection. I placed 3 dots of Cotton candy stickles in the top right corner All the brands I used can be purchased here at Shop Pumpkin Spice.

If you like the products you see here,  go check out the shop. These products are very good quality and great prices.
Our challenge is going on right now, until the end of the month, for a chance to win May's kit.
If you purchase the April kit and use it for your project, you will get a second entry

Boy Birthday Card- AUTHENTIQUE

Happy Monday to you! I had a full weekend if you follow my blog then you know what I was up to. I am struggling to keep my eyes open as I type this.

I have used the AUTHENTIQUE free  bird series paper called Endless & Fair-Weather. This cardstock is double sided and very thick. I cut the images from my Cricut Lite Cartridge Dude on max pressure and high speed and the Images came right out clean! Kraft Cardstock here. The    sentiment is from My Pink Stamps Itty Bitty Licious stamp set found here. I inked around the card and edges with  Distress Ink to give it a masculine feel. These papers are perfect for male cards.

Today is April 2nd that mean's there should be a NEW Card Kit Available! Beautiful papers and embellishments in this kit! Don't forget this
weekend is the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Design Team Hop and challenge for your chance to win a Kit from Shop Pumpkin spice. Please be sure to follow the guidelines and join us for some inspiration and FUN!!

FEBRUARY 15, 2012***WEDNESDAY****Patterns, Buttons & Twine, Oh My.

Good Morning,
This is DIANA L. from DL.ART,  I'm glad you could stop by.

This is my day to post my design here at Pumpkin Spice Blog.  I really had fun with this one. I used Authentique Free bird series Endless & Fair-weather
6x6 heavyweight double-sided card stock. The base is Bazzill beetle black.

I cut the image in the middle from  Spellbinders Shapeabilities pendants "lotus"
I cross stitched each of the  American Crafts  "confetti" buttons with a different colored twine from  the Twinery. For the yellow button I used mandarin, for the salmon colored button I used Caribbean and for the aqua colored button I used lemon drop.
I added a little faux stitching at the bottom with a Sakura glaze pen.
For the center of the Lotus I used My pink Stamper from the "Lunch Box Thoughts" stamp set

Here is a close of  the twine and the buttons. I really love this paper. I think the colors are great.
You can click on any of the highlighted products to find them in the Shop Pumpkin Spice SHOP.
