Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Saundra ~ Card

Hi there! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

If you haven't noticed there is a trend happening right now for CAS (Clean and Simple) cards. My style is not usually clean and simple. :) I love adding layers and such but today I thought I would give it a try. I'm not sure how CAS this card is but I like the way it came out.

For my card today, I started with a piece of Bazzill 8.5" x 11" Classic White cardstock. I cut it in half and then scored it to measure 4.25" x 5.5" and rounded the corners. I stamped the card with a hexagon background stamps and used a hexagon die to cut some pretty patterns from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline "Dolled Up" paper. I randomly placed the cut hexagons on the card.

My sentiment is from Paper Smooches "We Connect" set. Once I placed my sentiment the way I wanted it I stamped it with Momento Black Ink. For some interest I added some sequins and then tied some "Honeydew" Baker's Twine around my card.

Make sure you check out all the great products that Shop Pumpkin Spice has to offer HERE and HERE.

There's still time to enter into the Pumpkin Spice "Sunshine" Challenge. You can find all the details HERE.

Thank you for stopping today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Agnes

hello all and welcome to the pumpkin spice blog!

my name is agnes and i am here to bring you some inspiration using
"the sweetest thing collection" by my mind's eye. you all know i love making cards and this pretty thing is all that, wink!!!

Happy Happy
5" wide by 4" tall
i am in love with this collection patterned paper: the colors and designs are more than adorable.

i cut my card base using a bazzill cardstock in walnut cream which i stamped using this jars of love x 3 unity red rubber stamp from unity.

i used my cricut to make the rectangle flower window shape, backed the window opening with another patterned paper, and did some machine stitching to keep all cuts together. i added my other love: enamel dots. I also added some chipboard, including the one with the "happy happy" sentiment on top of two hand cut banners i found on the one patterned paper to layered the three cute banners you see . i also found the chipboard medallion and added it to the flower center. i had to ink all edges because i love inking for more definition on my projects. it all came together very easy using this fab (bit older) collection from my mind's eye.

hope i performed well, hope i gave you some ideas, some inspiration  with my handmade card.  you are also invited to check out my blog for even more inspiration...not just my blog but sps has one the best design team out there. you also might want to check out ebay's pumpkin spice store. you will find goodies not avail at shop pumpkin spice. gotta love it! <3

psss!...remember to join our monthly challenge: this month's theme is "sunshine" and the monthly prize is very sweet!

we all thank you for taking the time to visit us. we appreciate you so very much!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards sharing a card with you - and I had some fun with my pattern papers on this one:

I used my Silhouette Cameo and Studio Design Edition Software to cut the Pie Chart pieces using several pattern papers from Crate Paper's Little Bo Peep 6x6 paper pad. I misted a kraft cardbase with white Mister Huey's ink, then added some distress ink to the edges. The pie chart was attached with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.

I used a Paper Smooches stamp set for all the little sentiments, and stamped them on Classic White Bazzil Cardstock trimmed into thin strips. Added some My Mind's Eye enamel dots, and just a bit of jute twine tied in a bow.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Carissa - Board Book

Hello everyone! It's Carissa from Happily Ever Paper Crafter.

I have such a fun project to share with you today!

If your kids are anything like mine, the moment you start crafting, they want to be a part of the project your making. "Mommy can I help?" "Mommy can I use that paper too?" "Mommy can I sit on your lap?". It's so sweet, but sometimes when mom is in a hurry, I have to get them started on their own project. So when I got some Bo Bunny 6x6 board books in the mail, I knew I wanted to create a book with my kids! They were thrilled with the idea too.

I started by cutting out some white computer paper into 4x4 squares. With my kids advice, I stamped some fun farm scenes using the Penny Black stamps "Mimi's Farm". I assembled each page with some paper and a journaling tag. Then I had my kids "tell me the story" for each page. It was hilarious what the kids came up with!! Now we have a fun book to read that we made together.

With a black pen I added some detailing to each scene.
Then I wrote their "tales" onto the journaling tag.

And I colored each picture with some colored pencils.
The initials on each tag is the kid who "wrote" the tale.

The pig page was written by my daughter.
"Piggly Squiggs squiggles her tail so hard she rolls over & over. She likes her home. Riding home."
My son asked what the box was below the fence in the chicken picture. I told him it was a water trough. He thought otherwise.
"The chicken likes to jump on the trampoline. The sheep came to jump too."

"Buck the Duck is walking around with no such thing. The chicks are following behind. The rooster says 'Duck-a-doodle-doo'!"

"Purple Milk Cow is picking grass. She likes to stare at people."
"These sheep kept jumping over the fence until every one of them poked their feet.'
