Happy Friday!! I just love this time of year, the fall colors the cool weather so I can turn on the fireplace.. hehehe There is just something so comforting about the light flickering from a fireplace.
Here is a card front I put together real quick from the November "Family Time" kit. The colors in this kit just draw me in... big sigh....
Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh before I forget... here is a code for 10% off EVERYTHING at www.ShopPumpkinSpice.com for the weekend. Friday - Sunday: Coupon Code: HappyFall
I love this time of year. The rich colors of Fall are some of my favorite.
For my card I used products that are included in the SPS November Kit "Family Time." The patterned paper is Simple Stories "Harvest Lane." This line has several pages of tags and word art. It really makes putting a card together very easy. For instance, this card used no die cuts or an electronic cutting machine. It was just me, my paper cutter, and a pair of scissors.
I inked all my cuts with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I, then, added some Buttercream Baker's Twine from The Twinery. Shop Pumpkin Spice carries a wide variety of colors of The Twinery Baker's Twine.
The finishing touch to my card is this beautiful Petaloo Zinnia Flower which is included in the Family Time Kit.
Take a look at this wonderful kit:
This kit is valued at $46.65 but Shop Pumpkin Spice is retailing it for only $24.95! How awesome is that!
This is DIANA L. from DL.ART and I am thrilled to be designing with this awesome collection of paper from Carta Bella, "Christmas Day"
This is an A2 sized card---
the twine is cappucinno from the Twinery

Good morning everyone. It's Carissa here from Happily Ever Paper Crafter with a mini album to share with you today.
My hearts go out to all the people on the east coast suffering in the
aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. I see the pictures of people homes and
neighborhoods completely destroyed on television and it seems unreal.
How can this happen? Are these people getting help? How can I help?
When
I reflect on these tragedies, it makes me think "How did these people
prepare?" Most people left their homes and evacuated to safety. If that
was me, what would I take if I knew my home was in the path of
destruction? I have very few valuables that I would be lost without;
some family heirlooms and some jewelry. But mostly I would worry about
taking my photos, my memories. I would grab my laptop and scrapbooks,
leaving my favorite jeans and crafty supplies behind, and save my
families pictures. I pray that the families that lost so much had enough
time to make some hard choices, and grab what meant the most to them
before their homes washed away.
This week I created a
mini album of photos taken in the last 6 months of my family. I am
giving it as a gift to my amazing neighbor. She is the loveliest woman
in the world. She comes over to visit, loves spending time with my kids,
and sometimes comes over right before dinner so she can hold my baby
while I finish cooking. Isn't that just the sweetest! And my children
just adore her too.
