Are you Ready??

Today's Challenge: Green and 4 of something!  Be creative and have fun!

Here is my Project for the Challenge:

A fun little card I made for the hubby!  He is working so hard I wanted to let him know how much I think he ROCKS!!
I used a bunch of scraps... One thing I love about digital cutters is the ability to utilize all those scraps for the tiny layered pieces.  I of course used the Classic White Bazzill 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock for the base and a combination of stamp sets - Whimsical Designs and a Studio G from the $1 bin somewhere.  The green strips layer is actually Carta Bella "Merry & Bright" - Garland paper.  I love using up Holiday papers for other projects, like using scraps.. it gives me some sort of sense of accomplishment... weird right?!  Anyhow, my 4 of something are the 4 'gold coins' which are Candi Dots.. so fun and easy to use.  Pumpkin loves using them as 'plates' for her little pet shop pets.. very versatile.. lol

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Marlene - Card

Hello Everyone!
Marlene here from ScrappinCookie!

I'm so happy to be here today to share a quick card I made using my MOST FAVORITE papers - My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 2 Blush! And the BEST part - they are on SALE at ShopPumpkinSpice. So HURRY on over to the STORE and pick yours up before they are gone!

I absolutely LOVE these papers - the Browns, the Pinks with a touch of Light Blue. To go with these colors, I used some Bazzill Kraft Cardstock and Bazzill Chocolate Cream Cardstock as the base of my card.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to Carta Bella's Natural White Linen Cardstock. I just have to tell you that Carta Bella's Natural White Linen Cardstock has become my FAVORITE and GO TO cardstock!! I just LOVE the texture, its just PERECT - even for stamping!!

I then tied some "Cappuccino" Baker's Twine around the sentiment block and made a small bow for underneath the Prima Mulberry Rose.

I hope you have enjoyed my ShopPumpkinSpice Inspiration! ALL products used in my card can be found at the ShopPumpkinSpice Store.

Not only does ShopPumpkinSpice carry Top Quality and Reliable Brands, but you will find most items at a discounted price - 30% off to be exact! And as if that's not enough, ShopPumpkinSpice is adding SALE items DAILY! Be sure to check out the SALE ITEMS section of the store.

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - card

Hello!  This is June Houck with a little Thursday inspiration for you.

"Lucky to have you" is my favorite sentiment to use for
St. Patrick's Day cards because they can also be used for an anniversary card.  I planned my entire card around this
typewriter that I fussy cut from Jillibean Soup "Sweet and Sour" paper.  All of the other papers and stickers are from Echo Park "For the Record."  I was drawn to the 2 and U typewriter-style stickers.

I purchased everything to create this card from the

Supplies:  Jillibean Soup "Sweet and Sour" (typewriter); Echo Park For the Record "Fabric Store", "Newsprint", "Alpha Stickers", and "Element Stickers"

Here are some previous cards that
I have made using Echo Park "For the Record":
and I have another new "For the Record"
card that I will post this Saturday!

I hope you shop at Pumpkin Spice for all of your paper-crafting supplies :)

Happy Thursday!  June

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Cheryl: Card

Hello! This is Cheryl from Shestamps

This week’s challenge is to use X’s and O’s in your creations. Denine further challenged the DT to see what we could make with the focus on designer paper and only use stamps for sentiments. This idea popped into my head immediately. (Gosh, I love when that happens!)

2013-02-27-PSS-X-O-WM_thumb

On the back side of my top layer, I measured and marked where I wanted the die cuts. Although I used metal dies, you could do the same thing with your die cutting machine. The pieces of designer paper are adhered to the back side of the white piece so it shows through the negative spaces. I think there are so many possibilities to this design. You could use other words or shapes to fit any occasion. I finished off my card with stitching because, well, I almost always use stitching. I couldn’t resist adding some coordinating bakers twine.

I hope you will join our X’s & O’s challenge. You can find all the challenge details and link up your project here.

Thank you for stopping by!

Supplies:

  • Paper: Bazzill card stock (red & white), Lily Bee Design Handmade 6x6 Tiny Tablet
  • Tools: Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey die cut alphabet, Stampin’ Up edge punch
  • Embellishments: The Twinery maraschino baker’s twine
  • Font: Lemon Chicken

Today's Daily Inspiration Post from Tanya - Card

Happy Sunday everyone!  Are you like me and have tons of snow??  I think we got around 2 feet and that's just here in the lower elevations.   With all of this snow I couldn't help but feel inspired and found this stamp with a snowflake.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye "12 Days of Christmas"  I just love the peppermint candy paper in this pad :)
