JUNE 6, 2012***WEDNESDAY*** Yikes! Happy Birthday

Good morning Friends,

This is DIANA L. from DL.ART, thanks for dropping in here at Pumpkin Spice Blog.  I hope you are inspired today to create something you love. I am still in love with these papers from My Mind's Eye Indie Chic collection, these pattered papers are from the nutmeg pack. I am also using the My pink Stamper stamp set----------- Girly doodles I put two stamps together Yikes! and Happy Birthday. I thought it worked pretty good.  I fussy cut the flower out of the patterned paper and then embossed it. I used one of the brads from the Indie Chic collection, placing it in the center.

The ric-rac is from the March kit. The brown base card stock is Bazzill divine mocha. The twine is from the Twinery and comes in the May kit. I used colorbox ink, Espresso. This is an A2  size card

Here is a close up of the flower I cut it out twice with two different colors of paper
Everything I used on this card can be purchased at shop pumpkin spice. By entering  the challenges here at SPS you have the opportunity to  become a guest designer for Shop Pumpkin Spice.

"On the Bright Side" of Lunch

Good morning everyone. This is Carissa with another Monday post.

I was inspired to create these tags by a stamp set from My Pink Stamper. It's called "Lunchbox Thoughts". The set contains a TON of adorable sayings that any mom would love to tuck into their son/daughter's lunch box for school. Some of my favorite sayings are "You're the Greatest Kid Ever" and "I Believe In You". Isn't that sweet!!

So I thought I would make a couple of lunchbox tags. I was also inspired by my bin of punches! Every shape on these tags was cut by a punch. It was a really quick and fun project.

Supplies:

 MME - BRIGHT SIDE1 PAPER PAD 6X6
My Mind's Eye "On the Bright Side" One
6x6 paper pad
found here for $4.19

 Bazill KRAFT CARDSTOCK 8.5"X11

circle punch
tag punch
label punch

My son is going to kindergarten in the fall and I can't believe it! I'm sure I'll be making more of these special little tags to put in his lunch. What a sweet way to say "I love you" to your child when they are away at school.

Have a great week. I hope the weather is good where you are. And if not, I hope you get some crafting time for yourself.
