A Touch of Elegance

Wow is it Friday already? I hope you've all had a great week this week!  Ann here again :)

Instead of the normal novel that I write for these posts, today is going to be a shorter one.  I have a rather girly card to share with lots of pearls, some lacey/netty ribbon, pink ribbon, swirls, and a doily.  Yep, girly! The card uses some gorgeous papers from  My Minds Eye - "Vanity Fair" 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I think it's such a great idea that MME started coming out with more and more 6x6 paper pads because some of the collections are just off the wall gorgeous.

That's it for me today :)  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps A Touch of Elegance" and "Lavish Flourishes; Papers: My Minds Eye - "Vanity Fair" 6 x 6 Paper Pad; Embellishments: American Crafts ribbon, May Arts ribbon, doily, pearl spray, pearls; Tools: Whimsy Stamps Double Scallop Border Die, Spellbinders die

Pssst! I have a mini giveaway up for grabs. You can win two yards of the webbed weave ivory ribbon I used above along with some doilies and the card (if you want it, lol).  Please head over to my blog to enter :)

Shop Pumpkin Spice for Lime Twist

Hi, this is June Houck of Simply Elegant Paper Crafts to share a little inspiration with you.

If I had to choose only one paper company as a favorite right now, it would be My Mind's Eye.  The Lime Twist collection is so versatile and easy to mix up.  I started with floral/tree patterned paper (the "grass") because it had so many colors: pinks, greens, brown, and aquas.  From there I chose more solid-looking papers for the tree trunk, tree foliage, and birds.  Then I chose a sweet sentiment by My Pink Stamper.  Voila!

Supplies:
Cricut cartridges:  Straight from the Nest p.39 tree cut @ 3 1/2"; p.41 grass fit-to-length 4"; Everyday Pop-Up p.51 birds cut @ 1/2"
paper:  My Mind's Eye Lime TwistLife of the Party "Charmed" Trees Paper and Ric-rac Paper and "Love" Scallops Paper; Happy Go Lucky "Cute" Buttons Paper; Out of the Blue "Smile" Float Paper
stamp:  My Pink Stamper Sweet Goodness
ink:  Stampin' Up! chocolate chip and uni-ball Signo white gel pen; Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink
punches:  Fiskars cloud punches

Thanks for looking!  June

Hello Friends, Thanks you so much for taking the time to check out my posting today.  I hope you got a 'smile' out of something you saw or got some inspiration to go do something crafty.

Lucky to have you for my friend...

Good Wednesday mornin' to you all!!!

Courtney from Court's Crafts here hopefully to inspire you to get out that My Mind's Eye: Lost and Found Two: Sunshine line! There are still some of my kits available in the Shop Pumpkin Spice store which include all of these papers. I am still using the scraps to make cards and there is still plenty left!

I made this for my best friend Kourt who moved from being here locally in California to Omaha, Nebraska. I miss her all the time. So I wanted to send her a card to let her know she's the BEST! She loves elephants as much as I do!

Bridal Shower Banner with Crate Paper

Happy day to you all. It's Carissa from Happily Ever Paper Crafter here to share a project with you.

I am just in love with the Crate Paper "Portrait Collection" paper. The patterns are so elegant! I wanted to make a Bridal Shower banner for a friend who's wedding colors are black and white. I new I would use this amazing paper line with a ton of black and white patterns.

Here is a close up.

Using the "Tie the Knot" Cricut cartridge I was able to cut the same triangle shape banner for each letter out of 3 12x12 sheets of "Portrait" paper. Then I mixed and matched different patterns for the scalloped edge and inner triangle. The papers matched so well! This was a super quick banner to make.

Supplies:
Paper:
 Portrait Collection Kit 12\"X12\"
Crate Paper "Portrait Collection" Kit $11.20 found here

Cricut Cartridges: Tie the Knot, Flower Shoppe, Storybook
Plain black cardstock
White ribbon

Have a great Monday everyone! Be sure to pop back everyday this week to check out more amazing designs for our team!
