Echo Park Country Drive -Magic Card Free SVG By SugarGem

Hello Friends, Thanks you so much for taking the time to check out my posting today.  I hope you got a 'smile' out of something you saw or got some inspiration to go do something crafty.
This is today's 2nd post! Don't forget to keep reading onto next post to see what Denine made for you today! :)

Aloha everyone! It's Lenae again from SugarGem with a bonus post this week.
Before I left for Hawaii I just happened across this really awesome card on Youtube. Here.
You know I HAD to make one, but there was a huge problem friends! I couldn't find any directions! I mean absolutely NOTHING! I went on a mission to make this card. Through trial and error I finally got it and I must say it is another favorite in my card collection. I even made an SVG file so you can make this too! Hope you like it!

What you will need-
Echo Park Country Drive collection from Pumpkin Spice
White cardstock for stamping
SugarGem's SVG file.
Stamps. I used A Muse Studio A Very Un-Merry Birthday collection
White embossing powder
Versamark embossing ink
Tuxedo Black Momento ink
Anti static pillow
Copics RV14, BG10, BG13, Y17, Y13

How to make SugarGem's Magic Card-
Cut out SVG file using Echo Park Country Drive.
Score card at 2" on each side.
Score circle window insert at .50" on each end.
Score shutter tabs at .50" on tab end.

Belly band- cut out the berry strip from the Country Drive collection then cut a strip of green at 2 1/8"x 12" It definitely doesn't need to be 12 " long, but it is just easier to cut it that long. If you are frugal and want to save some go ahead and trim some off extra.

Here is the tutorial for my Magic card!
Here are 3 pictures of what the pieces look like scored.
This card could really be used for a lot of other purposes besides the magic card!

You can hardly see it in this picture, but I drew a light circle on the white 2.75" x 4.75" paper to make stamping my image easier. Then just erased the pencil lines.

Take your 2.75"x 4.75" piece and stamp your image.

I used embossing powder for the Birthday Wishes sentiment inside,
Color in image.

Glue stamped piece down. Make sure that your stamped image will show through the circle window piece properly before gluing in place.

Line up your circle window piece in the center of your card and glue tabs down. See both pictures below. Make sure all the circles are even.

The little shutters are tricky and you have play with them a little bit until they line up correctly. I recommend using re positional glue. If you look at mine closely you can see that the shutters don't get glued down exactly in the same spot on either side. One needs to be higher than the other. You want to make sure the shutter will completely close before you glue them down.

Once you have everything lined up, apply repositional glue to the tabs and shut the card.
Open card back up. This is what it will look like.
Tuck shutters under your circle window piece.

That's it! Now make sure everything is working properly and lined up! Hope you like this! Enjoy!

A little trick I learned too! If you do not have a cutting machine that cuts SVG's you can also download Inskape, download my SVG file, print out the file onto your Echo Park paper then hand cut.

This is a free gift from me to you! I spent a lot of time on this and hope you will give credit where credit is due if you use my file! That is all I ask I hope you enjoy! My fiiles are for personal use only and not to be sold. Thank you

If I can inspire just one person today I have done my job!
XOXO SugarGem
