Here is another project I did with the 'Chalkboard Fabric'
The car seat cover it was intended for....
The Back of the seat in front of Pumpkins car seat is getting scratched because like all Princesses... she needs a foot rest... lol... and she uses the back of the car seat in front of her.
couldn't resist... she is passed out ... lol
Here is a closer pic of the flowers...
I cut them with the Sizzix Dies : Stu Kilgour Flower Layers #5 and an older one I don't know the name of.
I just layered and layered to get a little garden for her to rest her feet in.
Why use the chalk board fabric, you ask?? Well, it is super durable and after she is in the seat with a seatbelt, she can actually use it as a drawing board... of coarse I will be putting more flowers on the bottom to catch the chalk dust when she gets to that .....
And a card for my friend Jen, if she will still have me.. : )

How did you find chalkboard fabric?
Hello Bunnyfreak... isn't it cool?? I happened upon it when I was looking for a durable fabric for the car seat cover. I had no idea what it was until I took it to the counter at Joann's Fabrics to have it cut. I was sold when I found out what it was... :)
Hello Kim, Thanks for stopping by my lil blog. :)
They do sell the car seat covers at Walmart and Target, my problem is Pumpkin uses the pockets as 'footrests' so they don't last for us. :( Plus they never seem to match the car interior.. hehehe
Hello Audrey... thanks for stoppin by :)
I hope so... I feel so bad. :(
Hello Cindy.. Thank you for stopping by. I found mine at Joann Fabrics. They had it by the vinyls and table covering type material. Good luck!! If you don't find it... send me an email.. I have a lot of extra. :)
What a great idea!! I may have to try this for Tommy!
and you will always be my friend.... you can't get rid of me that easy! :-)
Awesome idea, I may use this idea (if it's ok) for my little prince, he is always putting his (dirty) shoes up against the back of my seat.
TFS, and don't worry about being late, I am sure Jen and us hoppers understand.
