My 1st Project to share with you during this BLOG HOP is a Valentine Wreath. I was inspired by a project in the February 2011 edition of 'Scrapbooking Etc." One of the things that I liked about the project was the fact that I could include my girls in the process.
Here is my recipe:
6 - 6 x 12 pieces of Lovely by K & Company, cut into 1 inch strips.
My oldest daughter wraped the paper strips around a highlighter pen to get a tight loop.
Using Beacon Zip Dry, I attached the loops end to end, making an "O"
My youngest daughter helped me sort the patterned "O"s to place on an 8" round straw base.
Using my hot glue gun I randomly placed them trying to cover all areas of the base.
Then I randomly brushed on 'Modge Podge' and sprinkled 'Fairy Dust' glitter in Cotton Candy Pink to give it some sparkle.
The girls curled some curling ribbon and placed it in the "O"s.
Using my handy dandy Cricut, and Gypsy, I cut out the sentiment and adhered with Zip Dry.
Hope you like it! It will be going on my office door.. It makes me smile.. maybe its the 'Pink'
Ok... so you want a Giveaway??? How about a Lovely 12 x 12 paper pad. (Same as what I used on the project.)
Please come by tomorrow for another project... made with Pumpkin herself!
