Happy New Year
2011
Hello My Friends… Happy New Year. Can you believe 2011 is already here? Time just flies when you're having fun!
I have been so far behind with the holiday and am rather happy to see the New Year so I can begin to catch-up. J
First I need to give a great BIG shout out to Gwynne over on the Cricut Message boards. We were paired together for a 12 Days of Christmas swap and out packages arrived to each other just in time for Christmas. I am so amazed at the goodies she sent me… it felt like a Pre-Christmas celebration for my oldest daughter and I, as we unpacked the 2 boxes full of FUN!!
The Boxes:
Day 1: On the first day of Christmas, my partner made for me a banner with lots of bling.
The Banner – Gorgeous!!!
Day 2: On the second day of Christmas, my partner made for me, a set of ATCs – Beautiful!! I am going to use them as card fronts next year.
Day 3: On the third day of Christmas, my partner made for me Christmas cards to send to family. (Gwynne and I decided Tags would be better. ) Awesome.. oh my goodness. I actually used 2 of them for GC this Christmas. I have got to find out how she made these. They are simply gorgous.
Day 4: On the fourth day of Christmas my partner made me grin - with some ornaments that spin. Aren't these super cute. Pumpkin enjoyed putting them on the tree.
Day 5: On the fifth day of Christmas my partner gave to me a something dangly with red or green.
Something that Dangles! Super Cute and yummy!
This is so super cute!!! Don't you just love it!
Santa's pants were plum full of goodies.
Day 6: On the sixth day of Christmas my partner showed no restraint - and sent me something covered in paint. Oh my goodness.. this is so awesome. I will be keeping it on my desk for the goodies. J
Day 7: On the seventh day of Christmas my partner had the voice - no hostess word, just a project of her choice.
Day 8: On the eighth day of Christmas my partner sent to me, some sweets to share with family. This didn't even make it to Christmas. We went and saw Narnia on the 23rd and the kid's ate it all… well let me refine that, my oldest daughter scarfed it all. LOL she shared very little. The stuff is awesome. I am so glad Gwynne sent the recipe as well on this adorable recipe card. I still have it on my fridge! J
Day 9: On the ninth day of Christmas my partner looked so smug - she'd sent me papers from her cuddlebug. Ok this just made me jealous.. lol. I am in awww of all the wonderful papers. I don't want to use them. Hehehe I am so excited to see the designs in person and then decide which ones I just can't live without. Thank you so much Gwynne for your generousity.
Day 10:
On the tenth day of Christmas my partner sent to me, a tool that I've been needing. Already tried them out. So much fun!! Yeah!!
Day 11: On the eleventh day of Christmas my partner sent to me, some goodies to keep me cozy. Oh this was so awesome. I can't wait to play in my craftroom. There is 2 distressed inks and a gold glimmer spray in the adorable box that didn't show up in the picture.
Day 12: – On the twelfth day of Christmas my partner was out of time - she sent a favorite paper pack of mine. So cute! Just my style!
Thanks so much Gwynne. This was so much fun to open up and see all the goodies and treats. I have a lot to learn from you!! J
Next I would like to mention that one of goals for 2011 is to make at least 3 projects a week and get them posted. I would really like to participate in some Blog Hops and spend more time learning the craft, so what I have done to keep myself motivated is decided that each week of the year I will choose a cartridge to explore, with the help of Randon.org. Why am I posting this?? Well Sheila inspired me! Sheila, of She's A Sassy Lady is offering Blog Candy for participating in the 'publication' of your resolutions on her blog. She has some good information on statistic for New Years resolutions. Take a minute and read it!
So next week, Plantin Schoolbook will be my focus. At least 3 projects with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
I hope to post on Sunday what the projects for the week will be. J
Courtney, of Courts Crafts is participating in a New Years Blog Hop and another Blog Hop on the 3rd. You definitely have to check out her site. Courtney and I became blogger friends by "FATE". ( I suppose I should send that 'other' company a thank you card ) J She is such a sweetheart and talented to-boot! Give her some love during her blogs.. you are sure to find something of inspiration.
And lastly, for Christmas wonderful husband gave me a gift that I had been wanting for a while. A BRAND NEW WEBSITE! I am super excited. I looks like it will be live next week, due to holidays. So I am learning some patience. But I have an adorable new logo that gives you an idea of the site design.
Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement during 2010.
