Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Missy ~ Card

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a fun card to share with you!!  Last week, we took our dog in to get her fingernails trimmed.  When my husband went to pay the bill, the card scanner they have in the office wouldn't work, and instead of letting my husband dig out the cash he had in his wallet, they just gave us the nail treatment on the house!!  I decided to make them a little thank you not and give them a jar of home made salsa as a thank you for the kind gesture!!

For my card, I used the fun Kate & Co "Cambridge Court" paper pad by My Mind's Eye.  I love the bright, fun colors in this collection!!  I added a bit of Pink Sorbet bakers twine from the Twinery as well as a fun sentiment from the My Pink Stamper Girlie Fun stamp set.

If you haven't checked out the Shop Pumpkin Spice store lately, be sure to pop in!!  The prices can't be beat and in the Ebay store, free shipping is included in many items!!  Happy crafting!!!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - card

Hi, this is June Houck and it is my turn up on the Shop Pumpkin Spice blog today!

Please remember that Shop Pumpkin Spice has weekly challenges.  This week we are having a color challenge:  brown and green.  Interpret the challenge however you like; I started with browns and greens, but I also have some dark red as an accent color.

I perused my 6x6 pads that I have purchased from the Shop Pumpkin Spice store and I chose 6x6 papers from BasicGrey.  I die cut the hexagons, then used my Xyron for good adhesive coverage.  I stamped my sentiments in Texas Chocolate hybrid ink which is sold exclusively at Shop Pumpkin Spice.  It worked great on the burlap!  Finally I attached my some scrap ric-rac and two My Mind's Eye glossy brads.

Supplies:
paper:  BasicGrey "Clippings" 6x6; Bazzill brown card stock base; smooth white card stock
ink:  My Pink Stamper "Texas Chocolate" brown hybrid ink
glossy brads:  My Mind's Eye "Winter Wonderland"
sentiment stamps:  Neat and Tangled "Just For You"
adhesive:  Xyron
burlap trim:  My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 2 Sunshine trim
ric-rac: my scrap jar of remnant red ribbons
hexagon die:  PTI

Happy Tuesday!  June

I made this for Pumpkin - she loves it.  I am actually going to use it as a journal card on a scrapbook page... i will post that another time, once I have it complete.

Solid Cardstock:
Bazzill - Dark Brown SuedeRope Swing - Leave, base sentiment

Patterned Cardstock:
Carta Bella - Traditions - Patterned Papers, solid Orange Card base and Sentiment top Layer.

Echo Park - Times & Seasons - the Patterned Leaf.

I still have more scraps from these papers... I will be back this week with another card. Eeeekkkk...
