Winner Announcements & Challenge #23

Hello Pumpkin Spice Friends,

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a Thank You card I made for my Hubby's friend.  This family had us over for lunch.

In India, FOOD is everything... lol  This took me some time to get use too since I am an 'all american' girl.  Growing up, meals were out of a box or can or from a restaurant, so coming to India for the first time, several years ago now, and seeing that a typical meal has 4 or 5 courses... I was amazed and stuffed.

Needless to say... I don't keep up that tradition at home. (sorry hubby)

Wowzers!  Again, another week of amazing Projects.  Thank you so much everyone.  Your submissions make my day!

(virtual round of applause, please.... )
 The Random Pick Winner is......
Submission # 11
Woot Hoot.... Congratulations Carole of My Crafty Journey

Here is her amazing project..... Make sure you hop over to her blog and check out this adorable card along with others! I just LOVE all the greens in this card and the watering can is adorable.

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - thank you card

Hi!  This is June Houck...you may have been expecting a post from sweet Missy, but she agreed to trade days with me.  Don't worry, Missy will be here on Thursday!

Last week I found so much eye candy out in the blogosphere, yet I could not get a card to come together.  After three days I finally managed to make a card, but it was an epic fail.  I tried again, and made a scene card (SPS blog hop post) that I was really happy with.

I continued to play, but nothing evolved.  Sometimes cards come together quickly, and other times it can take hours...or days :)
So I went with my crafting roots...make a card from scraps. I pulled out a quart-size Ziploc bag of My Mind's Eye scraps.  The hexagon patterned paper already had that hole in the middle from a card I made last year.  I layered on kraft card stock, added a My Pink Stamper sentiment, and a button.  Voila.

Take a peek at this gorgeous stamp set:
*  I cut the "Thank" and "You" in half so that I could stack the words vertically on my acrylic block.  The blocks sold here at Shop Pumpkin Spice have etched grid lines...easy peasy to line up your word stamps!  It's okay to cut your stamps...see how versatile they can be?

Supplies:
paper:  My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart "Be Happy"; Bazzill kraft card stockPaper Accents white card stock
stamp:  My Pink Stamper "Around the Corner"
ink:  My Pink Stamper Darkest Night hybrid ink
button:  BasicGrey Picadilly collection wood button

Happy Tuesday!  June
