Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Denine - Cards

Hello Everyone,

It's Friday.  Hip Hip Hooray for Friday!!!

I have been watching videos this week from Patterned Play, a class over at Online Card Classes.  Jennifer McGuire shared a technique on Day 1 that I have absolutely fallen in love with and can see it becoming a Go To technique for quick easy fun cards.

Didn't they turn out cute!  I just love this technique and will definitely be trying to find a way to do it with my electric die machines.  I love puzzles, so this really was a fun card to put together.  And super fast to assemble.

I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Circles
Paradise Beach by Echo Park
Girlie Doodles by MPS
Texas Chocolate Ink by MPS

The Technique:
- You cut all 3 papers and dies nested together at once, this makes them fit within each other perfectly.

I also used a Sizzix Scrappy Cat die that cuts and embosses in one pass... love it!  I tend to not emboss with my cuttlebug using dies because it is time consuming.. this totally rocked!

Have a fabulous Friday.

You have a few more hours to submit your Rainbow Project to our Pumpkin Spice Weekly Challenge.  Come back tomorrow to see who the winner is.

Hugs,

Today's SPS Inspiration with Saundra ~ Card

Hi there! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

I have been in the moving process from what seems like forever! Our family moved from North Carolina to Pennsylvania in February. It was not without some problems but we are finally in our house and I am starting to get my craft room together. I still have quite a few boxes to unpack but I have enough unpacked to start creating again.

We were welcomed to our new neighborhood by some very friendly neighbors so I needed to make some thank you cards. I am in the mood for spring so this is what I put together.

To create this card I took an image of a kite from the Sugar and Spice cricut Lite cartridge and used this bright and cheerful cardstock from Fancy Pants designs "Be You" 6x6 pad. The string for my kite is from The Twinery's Baker's Twine in Pink Sorbet.

I punched a scallop circle from Fisacars and stamped it with stamps from Technique Tuesday "Sweet Somethings." I just tucked it behind my rectangle.

This was super fast to create and I have another sitting on my desk ready to be put together.

You can find these products at Shop Pumpkin Spice along with many more.

Thanks for stopping today.
Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Today's SPS Daily Inspiration with Agnes---handmade tag

hello all

flowerdisco here with another fabulous wednesday project to inspire you, or, to help get your mojo going.

(i was planning a short video for today but that was not possible. i am learning the process and for some reason i am having trouble).

anyway, i just received my goodies from the pumpkin spice shop and....i had ordered the scoot 6x6 paper pad from echo park and i quickly made a cute tag for a boy but you can use these papers for anything you want, not just boys. i combined it with some other elements from the store.

For You
3.5" tall
this tag was easy and so simple to make.

the striped background paper, the red border, the blue circle are all from the scoot paper pad.

i love the bright and sunny colors of this collection and since our  weekly challenge is "rainbow" and,  i think i am entering this cutie.

the jute i used is this one, the banner tag came from here, (on sale right now for a dollar) the sentiment is from my pink stamper: yummylicious retired stamp set and, the main element is from here: a lime twist sticker from my mind's eye.

i used a paper punch for the "You Win" (from one of the scoot papers) and hand cut the tiny banner from the same paper.

here are all the supplies i used:
and

i love this jute and is just 69 cents for over 9 yards---a bargain!

well, my dear..i have to go now. i hope i made your stop worthy enough. :D

remember the challenge this week is "rainbow" and you can link up here,
you will have until midnight friday pacific time.

thanks so much for taking the time,

take care,
agnes

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration - Heather - Layout

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards to share a layout instead of a card! I actually do a lot of scrapbooking, but for the most part, I do it for us and our family - not for blog sharing! However, I was so happy with this layout - and thought that it was particularly fun that I used Valentine's papers for a different purpose. I also still scrapbook in 8 1/2 by 11...I started that way, and just never got around to switching. I might someday - but for now I'm happy with this size! Here is my 2 page layout - it is when my oldest daughter got glasses for the first time:

Here is a close up of each page:

Other than the white and black cardstock, all the papers and embellies are from this years Valentine's paper pack from Echo Park - Love Story:

I hope this inspires you to create something non-holiday themed with something intended for a specific holiday! Such a fun way to stretch your supplies a little further! Have a great day!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Carissa : Card

Happy Monday friends. It's Carissa from Happily Ever Paper Crafter.

I created these cards using just 3 pieces of 6x6 paper. Sometimes when I'm creating a card, its much easier to make a second card right away because you already have the layout figured out! For these cards I cut two sheets at 4.25 inches. I used the scrap paper as the other cards layer. Flip flop - two cards done just as fast as one.

The stamps I used for these cards are from the same paper line. And I LOVE how the flowers stamp. Just amazing. And the sentiments are great!!
