SPS - June Blog Hop - Yankee Doodles Fun

Hello Everyone!

Wow, June has been a whirlwind.  Summer is here, well I think it is, still have not seen the sun here in Washington... LOL

The wonderful SPS Design Team is spotlighting the My Pink Stamper "Yankee Doodles" Image Stamp Kit.  It really is an adorable set of stamps.

For some reason the first thing I think of when looking at this set of cute stamps is Mickey Mouse wearing that Hat!  Would that be cute or what!!!  And the Happy 4th makes me think of 4th birthday toppers... cute... and of course my first thought of "Little Firecracker" is my 2 boys.. lol

And the fireworks stray can be used on New Year's invites or even birthday celebration cards... I keep getting oodles of ideas... now I just need to find time to do some crafting.

Thank You, Indie Chic!

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

I am thrilled to share my card with you!

I'm sure many of you have seen the My Mind's Eye "Indie Chic" papers. I just received mine a few days ago and I am loving the rich, beautiful prints in this 6x6 pad. What's wonderful about My Mind's Eye is that they create wonderful embellishments to go with their paper lines. I used several on this card.

The flowers on here are handmade by me. I had fun picking out the papers to make them but, Boy, were my fingers sore afterward! It was worth it, though. I love the way they turned out.

Remember, Shop Pumpkin Spice carries the newest lines of designer paper and, most importantly, it is always 30% off retail or more. We all love that, don't we?

Here are the items I used and can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice:

My Mind's Eye Indie Chic ~ Ginger "Adventure" Decorative Brads
My Mind's Eye Indie Chic ~ Ginger "Direction" Decorative Buttons
Other items used:

Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge ~ flourish
Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge ~ scallops for flower
Seam Binding from my stash

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Come back Monday through Friday for lots of  crafty inspiration!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

"A Boy's Life" Folded Wallet Picture Holder

Happy Monday to you all. It's Carissa with another fun project for you.

I've been addicted to making these little folded wallet picture holders. It's such an easy insta gift! And with the Pumpkin Spice kits and complete paper collections available, it is soo easy to have everything match and work perfectly together.

I started out with two 12x12 pieces of cardstock from the Echo Park "A Boy's Life" collection. After folding and creasing and die cutting my project was almost done. (Click here to see my complete photo tutorial on how to make this project.) I embellished the outside and inside with some stickers, stamps and twine and then I was done. Each one can hold 4 wallet size photos. Perfect for a mom or grandma to carry around pictures of their little kiddos.

Front of the picture holder. Aren't the embellishments perfect for this project.

Twine from the front wraps around to the back. I layered these buttons from my stash and attached then with foam dimensionals. The twine wraps around the buttons and keeps the holder closed.

The photos slip in from the top. Here I embellished the inside with stickers from the collection.

Here I used stamps from MPS to embellish the inside.
