You Warm My Heart

Hello everyone!  Ann here again posting on yet another Friday that just seemed to creep up!

For today's post, I have a card to share with you using some gorgeous Bo Bunny papers from the Blitzen 6x6 paper pad.  I really like the non-traditional colors that are in this collection.  There are definitely a lot of color combinations that I would not have thought to use for winter/holiday cards, but I think it came together perfectly!

I also tried my hand a coloring on kraft again, something that I hadn't done for a long time, and I was actually somewhat satisfied with the results.  The image looks better in real life.  If you need kraft paper, Shop Pumpkin Spice has it available here: Bazzill 8.5 x 11 Kraft Cardstock.

I cut out a ton of snowflakes and placed brads from the Echo Park Happy Days Brad Assortment in the center to add a little bling to the card.  I stamped the sentiment repeated on stiff twill ribbon using the StazOn Stamp Pad in Jet Black.  This is the only stamp pad I trust on different types of surfaces - it really just "stay on" very well!

Thanks a bunch, Pumpkin Spice!

I love my Echo Park papers.  Last week I played with Echo Park's Country Drive papers and stickers.  I enjoyed challenging myself to use the stickers included in the collection that it got me thinking about using them some more.  I realized that I had not used my For the Record collection in several weeks, so I perused the stickers I found there.  (Both the bird and scalloped border are For the Record stickers.)

Last week we went to visit my grandmother.  I owe her a thank you card for treating us to lunch when we went to visit her.  This bird made me think of my grandmother because she loves birds.  Voila!  Isn't it great when a plan comes together?  All of the decorative papers are from For the Record, even the sentiment!  Only the solid blue card stock and the four black mini brads are from my stash.

Custom Tags For Someone Special

Hello Friends, Thanks you so much for taking the time to check out my posting today.  I hope you got a 'smile' out of something you saw or got some inspiration to go do something crafty.
Hi Everyone! It's Lenae here from SugarGem to share some Tuesday inspiration!
Today I have some special little custom tags I made for someone special.....My MOM!!!! My mom is always knitting beautiful items like socks, gloves and scarves. She is always giving them away to friends and family and we are always so happy to receive them. I thought it would be nice to make some special custom tags that she can pin to her creations when she gives them away. I spent 2 days just trying to figure out how to create the little dots, circles and words into a round format, but I finally got it! Here is what I came up with. I have been chomping at the bit to use some of these awesome collections!!! Hope you enjoy!

The first set is bright and cheery. I used the My Minds Eye 12 days of Christmas paper and embellishments. Here are the links.

Twinery Twine. (now available at Pumpkin Spice) I used the color Maraschino for this collection.

You can really see how cute and 3D these stickers are here! I love them!

I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles and Scalloped Circles to cut the tags. Red glitter embossing powder(My favorite Christmas embossing powder) to emboss the edge of the inside circles and stamp the sentiments and snowflakes. Creamy Brown Colorbox ink to distress the paper.
I used the 6"x 6" sets for these tags, but I also have the 12" x 12" collections. I supplied you with links to both because these are such a great deal I highly recommend getting both the 6" and 12" collections this season because they are going to be great for different uses! I love the 6" for certain projects and the 12" for other projects! The print is a little different on each one giving you more versatility! Just my 2cents! Wouldn't these tags be cute put into a nice little box for a Christmas gift? You could use the 6" for the tags and the matching 12" for the boxes! ......

Thank you for taking a look today!
If I can inspire just one person today I have done my job!

"Apple Cheddar" Owl

Happy Monday everyone. It's Carissa again with another card creation!

It is getting colder and colder here in the Midwest. We even had several days of blizzard like snow. The snow didn't stick to the ground thank goodness. My kiddos were totally amazed. My daughter couldn't stop laughing her head off when we walked out in the snow for the first time. So cute.

Today I used the "Apple Cheddar Soup" paper from Jillibean Soup. It seems so fall and cuddly to me. I just love this paper line.
