Yeah.. I did it!!

Ok, so I am really proud of myself.  I figured out how to make a button using paint, and let me just say, my paint skills are very limited.

My Pink Stamper Challenge #1

I really enjoyed this challenge. The challenge was to create a project using the colors Pink, Green and Black. Simple enough! This was so much fun!!

Instructions and Supplies Used
Card #1 – Cricut
I used the Word Builders – A Garden of Words (1st time using it, really enjoyed experimenting)
I cut the Cricut face on page 57 of the booklet (or 49 on the overlay) in 3 features

1. Blackout Feature – Black Cardstock at 3 ¾ inches
2. Flower Feature – Pink Cardstock 3 ¾ inches (making sure my 'real dial size' key was OFF)
3. No Feature key – Green Cardstock 3 ¾ inches
A piece of scrap paper from a Debbie Mumm stack (no theme name)
Black Grosgrain Ribbon
Google eyes
Pink chalk
White Brad
White cardstock for base.
                                                          Double-sided tape
                                                          Zig two-way glue

Card #2 – Smile
Again, I used the Word Builders – A Garden of Words (lots to explore on this cartridge)
Can you believe this is even the same page? Imagine what the other 49 pages have to exploer.
I think this little caterpillar is a hidden treasure.. so cute.
Using page 57 in the booklet or 49 on the overlay, 4 cuts as follows:
1. Flowerpot Blackout – Black Cardstock at 3 inches
2. Flowerpot Feature – Green Cardstock at 3 inches
3. Flowerpot Feature – Brown Cardstock at 3 inches (I cut the flowerpot portion out of this cut, it could have just been layered but I wanted the green for the flower stem to show.)
4. Flowerpot Feature - Pink Cardstock at 2 ¾ inch for the pink flower to be a bit smaller
A piece of black and white floral paper from DCWV
Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Green and white stitch thread.
Pink chalk, White Brad with black polka dots, Google eyes
White cardstock for base.
Double-sided tape
                                                          Zig two-way glue

Markers were used on both as well for some dimension.
Thanks for looking.
